Modders have released NightCoop, a new fan-made mod for Cyberpunk 2077 that is currently in open beta. While CD Projekt Red originally planned multiplayer functionality for the game, reports say those plans were scrapped before the game launched.

It also allows a pair of users to enjoy the entire story with total synchronization across all activities. This includes Braindance scenes, dialogue via a voting system, and special cybernetic abilities like the Sandevistan. Players can also experience the initial prologue heist together.
Reports say the mod has over 110,000 downloads from its official website.
