CD Projekt RED released Update 2.5, titled Edgerunners 2 Update, for Cyberpunk 2077 on Nintendo Switch 2. The update is free for players who own the base version of the game and does not require the Phantom Liberty expansion or the Ultimate Edition.
Cyberpunk 2077 · official art via IGDBThe patch adds a new side job called "Preventive Measures" that occurs before the events of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime. Completing this job provides a five-piece gear set based on Wick Kingsley. Players can also access a new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, which features music from the anime.
New gameplay mechanics include the ability to dual-wield revolvers or pistols using the new Double Effect perk in the Cool skill tree. CD Projekt RED also added new hairstyles, clothing sets, and visual styles for arm cyberware.
Interface changes include separate organization for save files from different playthroughs and new filters for vehicle and apartment stashes. The Nintendo Switch 2 version also includes a fix for a bug that triggered insufficient storage space warnings during saves.
