Argonaut Games has released a remaster of Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos for Nintendo Switch. The remaster includes enhanced visuals and quality-of-life improvements. Players can now use a triple jump alongside classic moves like tail-spinning. The game also features new mechanics such as riding minecarts, racing cars and speedboats, using a hang glider, and flying a wooden airplane.

The release includes an in-game digital museum called the Croc2pedia. This feature contains development materials, cut content, and a 90-minute Croc2mentary with interviews from the original and remaster teams. Argonaut Games says Croc 1 and 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Editions are also in development.
