Mega Man: Dual Override reveals Cook Man as fourth Robot Master

Capcom revealed Cook Man as the fourth confirmed Robot Master for Mega Man: Dual Override. The character is a wandering chef who uses a "Kung Fu Cooking" style involving food preparation and flame attacks. He joins three other confirmed Robot Masters: Jet Man, Tank Man, and Twinkle Girl. Capcom says the game features eight Robot Masters in total, consisting of original designs and one design submitted by a fan.

The game allows players to control both Mega Man and Proto Man. A new Override mechanic provides a temporary boost to abilities, though Capcom notes this results in a temporary loss in performance once the boost ends. Players can also use a Custom Chip system to equip abilities such as hover, rapid-fire, or a protective shield bubble. Special weapons are available but consume energy when used.

While the trailer shows Astro Man from Mega Man 8, reports say it is not confirmed if other classic Robot Masters will appear. Mega Man: Dual Override is planned for a spring 2027 release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
