Next Kingdom Come game may miss early 2027 release due to cyberattack

Warhorse Studios confirmed it suffered a cyberattack on October 27, where unauthorized parties accessed company data and systems. On October 30, the studio said the incident affected some internal services and that they are investigating whether personal information was compromised.

Reddit user u/bertik11 claims the cyberattack may have slowed or temporarily halted development of the next Kingdom Come game. While the user previously suggested the game was in testing for a first-half 2027 release, they now claim it is unlikely to arrive during those first six months of 2027. The user expects the game to be revealed at a major European gaming event in summer 2027.

Warhorse has not confirmed these claims. The studio has previously stated a release window for the next game within the fiscal year running from April 2027 to March 2028, provided everything goes right.
