Phantom Blade Zero guide details how to restore the Illusory Pipa

Restoring the Illusory Pipa in Phantom Blade Zero requires finding three parts hidden across the Village of Lu, the Mandate Encampment, and Meigu Lake. Reports say players must first progress through the main story in the Crimson Forest to unlock the Village of Lu and speak with Jewel, who directs Soul to Myst in an abandoned wine cellar in Pangzhen.

To acquire the Illusory Pipa Head, players must collect six Firefly's Memory Flowers in the Village of Lu and defeat Dusk. The Illusory Pipa Backplate waits inside a building after defeating Yubi, No. 21 Swordfighter Puppet in the Mandate Encampment. Reaching Meigu Lake requires progressing through Pangzhen, using a boat to collect six Yan'er's Memory Flowers, and defeating Yan Qiansui, the Zither Maiden to acquire strings for the Allure of Vanity quest.

The restored instrument is used at the Spectral Gate to continue the Whence the Weeping quest.
