007 First Light 1-hour trial hits PS Plus Premium at $42 sale price

PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe subscribers can now access a one-hour free trial of IO Interactive's 007 First Light. The trial includes the opening prologue mission and tutorials, with save data carrying over to the full game if purchased. The one-hour limit restricts access to deeper gameplay mechanics, which only unlock once the first real mission begins.

The trial coincides with a sale on the US PlayStation Store offering 40 percent off, which brings the price down to around $42. The game originally launched on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in May. IO Interactive states that a Nintendo Switch 2 port is slated for March 18, 2027, following a delay for additional polish, and will include a GoldenEye suit pre-order bonus.
