GTA 6 might feature PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution and improved lighting on PS5 Pro, according to a reported accidental post from PlayStation France.
The French branch of the console manufacturer seemingly shared a now-removed page detailing upgrades for the upcoming game on the upgraded hardware. Details indicated the software might employ AI-based upscaling for high-definition screens. Advanced lighting features for better shadows and reflections were also noted.
These claims might not be authentic. Reports say the listing included a reference to Atsu's katana from Ghost of Yōtei, which has nothing to do with the title. Some users suspect the promotional material was created using artificial intelligence, and a verification utility detected matching markers.
Neither company has officially verified these specific graphical upgrades. Commentary notes that performance might not differ between standard and upgraded consoles. Furthermore, developers previously stated the software targets thirty frames per second on current platforms.
