AOC has unveiled the Agon Ultra AGP277UZD in China. The 26.5-inch gaming monitor uses a tandem WOLED panel with an RGB subpixel layout and a dual-mode feature. This allows users to switch between 4K resolution at 240Hz and 1080p at up to 480Hz. The display has a 0.03ms G2G response time, 10-bit color depth, and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. AOC says the panel covers 100% of the sRGB gamut and 99% of DCI-P3, with a Delta-E of less than 1 in SDR and less than 2 in HDR. It is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified.
Peak brightness reaches 1,000 nits at 1.5% APL in HDR, 450 cd/m² at 12.5% APL in HDR, and 250 cd/m² in SDR. Connectivity includes one 80Gbps DisplayPort 2.1, two 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port with 98W Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode. The monitor also features a USB hub with three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB-B 3.2 Gen 1 port.
Additional features include G-Sync compatibility, Adaptive Sync, a KVM switch, PiP/PbP functionality, and two 5W speakers supporting THX Spatial Audio+. A CMOS-based presence sensor can detect when a user leaves the desk to reduce power use and help minimize OLED burn-in. The stand supports 150mm of height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot. AOC has not released pricing or availability for Western markets.
