World of Warcraft: Forever · official art via IGDBBlizzard released a thirty-minute overview trailer for World of Warcraft: Forever hours before release. The MMORPG recreates the 2004 original with over one thousand new quests, improved lighting, and increased draw distance. Blizzard has made every talent specialization viable, including tanking Feral Druids and damage-dealing Retribution Paladins. New race and class options include Dwarf Shamans for the Alliance and Undead Paladins for the Horde, alongside Skyborne Elves. A new campfire system grants experience and stat boosts, while a pre-launch balance patch increases higher-level creature health.
The game requires a regular World of Warcraft subscription, though accessing the Skyborne race needs a separate one-time purchase.
