The music was composed alongside early development, with some themes written before bosses and fighters were visually finalized. Bo worked with creative director Soulframe Liang on the score, a partnership that began 18 years ago during work on Rainblood 2: City of Flames. The score pairs electronic and rock styles with classic Chinese instruments.

Separately, Game Music Festival and Supergiant Games released a recording of the Ballads of the Underworld concert. The concert took place on June 27, 2026, at London's Royal Festival Hall and featured music from Hades and Hades II. The recording includes performances by composer Darren Korb, singer Ashley Barrett, and the London Mozart Players conducted by Austin Wintory. The concert also featured voice actors Judy Alice Lee, Erin Yvette, and Colin Ryan. This recording is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
