A Reddit user, u/Thriceinabluemoon, claims their 2023 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402XY) was returned from a warranty repair in the Netherlands with 16 GB of RAM missing. The laptop originally had 32 GB of RAM, which consisted of 16 GB of soldered memory and 16 GB installed in a SODIMM slot. The user reports that the device underwent a motherboard replacement during the RMA process.

The user says ASUS customer support in the Netherlands will not recognize that the additional RAM was part of the original product configuration. Although the user has provided a receipt to show the laptop was purchased with 32 GB of RAM, they have not yet received a resolution from the company.
