macOS 27 runs on ASUS laptop with Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme

Developer Miguel C has successfully installed macOS 27, known as Golden Gate, on an ASUS Zenbook A16 equipped with a Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor. Using the Snapintosh project, the system now reaches the Liquid Glass interface. Miguel C says the setup uses hardware acceleration via the Snapdragon GPU.

The developer has made big progress since September. While Miguel C reports that most graphics problems are solved, the installation remains glitchy. The developer says the system still requires performance improvements and is currently working to get WiFi functional. Miguel C claims the project can reportedly run on older Qualcomm processors and Android tablets.
