TL;DR

Nvidia's 621.01 Game Ready driver brings Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery, cutting shader build times by up to 95 percent.

Nvidia released Game Ready driver 621.01, which adds support for Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery to GeForce graphics cards. The system can lower shader build times by as much as 95 percent and may mitigate mid-game hitches linked to real-time compilation.

Supported titles include Gears of War: E-Day and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. To use the feature, players must update to the 621.01 driver and play compatible games through the Xbox app. Microsoft says support will eventually arrive for other storefronts like Steam and Epic Games, but the company has not provided a specific release date.
