Madden NFL 27 update 1.008 causes connectivity issues

EA released update 1.008 for Madden NFL 27 on October 21. The patch includes fixes for player progression, contracts, custom rosters, and Custom Draft Classes. It also includes 47 new facemasks and continues work on salary-cap and CPU roster-management fixes. EA advises users to launch fresh Franchise Leagues to obtain all salary cap adjustments.

Gamers state that these features fail to function properly following the patch. Company representatives note they are currently looking into reports from users who find themselves locked out of specific online modes, and developers promise to share further details later.
