Super Flower launches LEADEX VIII Platinum Pro Premium PSUs

Super Flower has launched its LEADEX VIII Platinum Pro Premium power supply series in black and white versions. The series includes 850 W, 1000 W, and 1200 W models. Each unit uses a 125 mm long chassis, measuring 125x150x86mm. The 1200 W model is one of the most compact Platinum-rated power supplies available.

The units are built to ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards and include a 12V-2x6 cable. Super Flower says the series uses a TSMC-manufactured LLC controller IC to provide more precise voltage regulation when transitioning between low and high loads. Internal components feature Infineon MOSFETs, Japanese 105°C capacitors, alongside a dual-layer transformer and an embedded inductor.

The series has received Cybenetics Platinum efficiency certification. Super Flower states that efficiency is over 91%. For thermal management, the ECO semi-fanless system powers down the cooling fan during light load conditions. The series also uses a patented universal 9-pin modular connector design and embossed modular cables to assist with assembly.
