An Nvidia driver update that introduces support for Microsoft Advanced Shader Delivery (ASD) has caused visual issues for some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 players. Reports say users have seen washed-out textures or negative colors in the game after installing the update. ASD is intended to allow players to download precompiled shaders rather than compiling them on their own hardware.

Players have identified a fix for these graphics issues. Reports say deleting the "shadercache" folders located within the "sp26" and "cod26" installation directories and then restarting the game should force a recompile of the shaders and fix the visuals.
