RecompLauncher has launched as a website to catalog community-made console game ports for PC and Mac. The project currently lists over 200 ports for Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox titles. Listed titles include Zelda 64, Sonic Unleashed Recompiled, Skate 3 Recomp, and God of War III.

Many of these projects use static recompilation to turn console code into native PC programs rather than using traditional emulation. While the website serves as a directory, the developers are planning a desktop application for Windows, Linux, and macOS. This planned app intends to pull updates from individual GitHub repositories and assist with game configuration. There is no confirmed release date for the desktop application.

The platform avoids sharing commercial titles or protected data files. Players must provide their own legally owned game data. Certain catalog entries cannot yet be played or downloaded because they remain under development or need additional setup. This undertaking began as RecompStore, which served as a custom software platform for modified PlayStation 5 systems.
