War Thunder announces Halloween races and cosmetic rewards

Gaijin says War Thunder is hosting Halloween races from October 28 at 11:00 GMT until November 1 at 11:00 GMT. The start of these races was pushed back by 24 hours. Players can participate in the "Through the dark forest" ground event using the M18 "Witch" tank or the "Witch Hunt" air event using the Po-2 "Night Witch" aircraft.

In the ground event, 750 rating points grant the "Sinister Lands" profile frame, while 500 points grant a decoration from the "Witch’s Cauldron" trophy. The air event offers the "Green Ghosts" Squadron Emblem decal for 750 rating points and a decal from the "Dead Man’s Chest" trophy for 300 points. The top 1,000 pilots in the air event will receive the Po-2 (USSR) aircraft within 48 hours after the event ends. Additionally, earning 3,000 mission points in a rank III or higher vehicle with at least 70% activity provides a decal.

The "Dead Man’s Chest" and "Witch’s Cauldron" trophies are available in the in-game shop. If players already own all items in a trophy, they receive a trophy containing a 20–50% research point booster for 3–10 battles, a 20–50% Silver Lion booster for 3–10 battles, 3–5 universal backups, or 1 day of Premium Account. A separate decal mission runs from October 27 at 11:00 GMT to November 1.
