The title has been in development since 2021 and entered Steam Early Access on July 5, 2023. Players can choose between three protagonists: Pyra, Atlas, and Sage. The 2.5D game uses turn-based combat where players can see the turn order, exploit enemy weaknesses, and utilize a Burst Bar for powerful moves. Character-specific mechanics also affect exploration, such as Pyra cutting through rocks or Atlas striking distant targets.
