Unofficial Mortal Kombat 9 browser port includes DLC and Kratos

By One Percent Lows

TL;DR

An unofficial Mortal Kombat 9 port for PC web browsers features all DLC and Kratos.

An unofficial port of Mortal Kombat 9 now runs in PC web browsers, as the game executes directly on the user's hardware rather than relying on remote servers. This version includes all DLC and Kratos. Players can play single-player modes or engage in online fights by creating a room and inviting a friend.

The project uses WebAssembly for code and WebGPU for graphics. It is compatible with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Brave, as well as Firefox 153 or later. The game automatically detects keyboards or Xbox and PlayStation gamepads.

Game files download as they are needed. Each arena and fighter is downloaded the first time it appears and then saved to the browser. Progress saves within the browser, though players can use settings to export a save file or import one into a different browser.
