Baldur's Gate 3 mod Forsaken releases Act 1 with 20 quests
TL;DR
SquallyDaBeanz's new Baldur's Gate 3 mod Forsaken brings a Warcraft-inspired custom campaign to PC.
Modder SquallyDaBeanz has launched the opening chapter of Forsaken, a user-created adventure for Baldur's Gate 3 set in the World of Warcraft universe. The story takes place in the Tirisfal Glades starting zone, following undead freed from the Lich King as they fight to reclaim Lordaeron. It maintains no connection to the base game narrative.
The release is built for characters ranging from levels 1 to 5. It packs more than 20 quests, over 30 combat encounters, and more than 60 handcrafted NPCs and traders alongside new dungeons, towns, items, secrets, and puzzles. Players can recruit three temporary party members at Deathknell Chapel, consisting of fighter Darnell, sorcerer Isabella, and cleric Duesten. SquallyDaBeanz says a complete overhaul for these companions is planned for a future update.
The campaign is available on PC with no console version planned. It features no voice acting, and the creator does not intend to add any. Act 2 has no estimated release date, though future updates will introduce new quests, items, class-specific dialogue, and lore books.
