Corsair 128 GB DDR5-6000 kit reaches ¥514,800 in Japan

High-capacity DDR5 memory prices rose in Akihabara shops during a survey between October 17 and October 24, 2026. A Corsair 128 GB DDR5-6000 kit was listed at ¥514,800, a 62.4% increase from the September 12 survey. That same kit cost ¥59,800 in October 2025, meaning the price rose by ¥455,000.
Other high-capacity models also saw increases. Reports say a 128 GB Crucial DDR5-5600 kit was listed for ¥399,980, with some shops reaching the ¥440,000 range. A Crucial 128 GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM kit was listed at ¥439,800. A 64 GB Crucial DDR5-6400 kit was priced at ¥139,980, which is a ¥4,000 increase from the previous survey. These figures only show store conditions during the check and do not guarantee future amounts.
