TL;DR

Square Enix says a bug in Final Fantasy Resonance can stop players from claiming Colosseum victory rewards, but plans to provide compensation in an upcoming update.

Square Enix notes an issue within Final Fantasy Resonance that stops users from getting Colosseum prize payouts. The issue occurs if a player selects a battle they have not cleared and cancels the challenge by choosing "No" or going back. Winning any fight outside this arena afterward can incorrectly label that chosen trial as finished.

Users can bypass this temporarily by joining an arena match and choosing to escape prior to battling foes elsewhere. Creators are currently looking into the glitch and will patch it via a forthcoming software patch. Anyone affected who missed out on prizes will be reimbursed via that very same patch. The title debuted in October 2026 across personal computers and major gaming systems.
