The Standard Edition costs $29.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition is $34.99 and includes a soundtrack, a novel preview, and a "A Remaster Diary" book. Clear River Games will provide physical copies for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

The remaster uses the KEX Engine to support up to 4K resolution and 120 FPS. It includes all content from the Thief: Gold expansion, three extra missions, five enemy types, and a new campaign titled The Tarnished Mirror. Visual updates include overhauled textures, 3D character models, and new animations. Additional features include a gear selection wheel, the ability to replay missions, motion or gyro controls, an achievement system, community mod support, and a gallery of development materials. The original version of Thief will stay on digital storefronts after the remaster launches.
