Limited Run Games announced physical Nintendo Switch releases for Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2. Pre-orders for these titles start on November 12 and run through January 3.
Mega Man X: Legacy Collection · official art via IGDBThe Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 release includes Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8. Players can choose between a Standard Edition, a Double Pack, or a Maverick Hunter Edition. The Double Pack contains all eight mainline Mega Man X games across two physical cartridges in a themed slipcase. This differs from a previous North American retail version of the collections, which provided the second collection via a download code rather than a cartridge.
Buyers of the Maverick Hunter Edition receive both bundles alongside a collector box packed with four series-inspired patches, a Metool keychain, and a character-themed light shaped like a canister. Limited Run Games has not announced pricing or shipping dates for these releases.
