War Thunder Su-15TM arrives in next major update

Gaijin Entertainment says the Su-15TM will join the Sukhoi jet aircraft line at Rank VI in the next major War Thunder update. The aircraft is a high-altitude interceptor with a top speed exceeding 2,200 km/h or up to Mach 2 at high altitude. It features a radar and a Radar Warning Receiver, though it lacks flares and chaff.

The Su-15TM introduces the R-98 missile family, and players can carry two of these missiles alongside R-60 air-to-air missiles, external fuel tanks, or ground-attack weaponry like bombs and rockets. The R-98MT variant uses an IR seeker with a range exceeding the R-60, but its target lock is limited to the rear hemisphere of the target. The R-98MR variant uses radar guidance for head-on combat. The aircraft also carries 23 mm gun pods or a cannon for close-range combat and ground attacks. Gaijin Entertainment notes that aircraft stats could change before the update.
