Anbernic released a video showcasing several features for the RG DDS, which is slated to begin shipping in about one month. The video highlights an AI Game Studio that uses cloud and on-device AI models to build playable games based on user prompts.
The handheld includes a Dual-Screen Control Center where the bottom screen can act as a trackpad. This allows for gesture navigation on the top screen or mouse pointer control, and the trackpad can be used for gameplay in certain titles. Anbernic also features a Voice Companion that lets users adjust brightness, switch performance modes, or turn off the lower screen without using the controls or screens. Users can also customize the dedicated AI button and the RG buttons through the Settings app.
