Nate Bihldorff says new games and remakes hold equal importance for Nintendo, and a Donkey Kong Jr remake is official.
Nintendo SVP of product development and publishing Nate Bihldorff says new games and remakes both have an equal place in the company's lineup. Bihldorff noted that while new entries in existing franchises are important, revisiting special older titles provides satisfaction and offers a new experience for players who never played the originals. The company released remakes of Star Fox and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time earlier this summer. A remake of Donkey Kong Jr is also official.
