Nvidia says the RTX 5090 will not be discontinued. Jeff Fisher, head of Nvidia's consumer division, denied claims from a leaker that the company planned to cancel the consumer card to redirect GB202 silicon toward RTX Pro and AI hardware.
Fisher acknowledged that RTX 5090 supply remains constrained due to supply chain difficulties. He did not mention exact manufacturing numbers or when stock levels might get better. While the card has a $1,999 suggested retail price on Nvidia's US web store, it is currently out of stock. Reports say retailers are selling custom models for over $6,000, while other retailers have prices around £5,000.
