Gameplay mechanics change depending on the stage. In the Cell Stage, players share a single tide pool and can save a stunned partner by swimming close within 10 seconds. During the Creature Stage, players can heal and revive each other, and hunting the same animals together increases damage by 25%. In the Civilization Stage, participants control their own vehicles and cities, but launching a joint siege on a city is 50% faster. In the Space Stage, players share a galaxy where they can trade, share tool charges, defend each other's colonies, and complete joint missions.
