Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series prices reportedly increasing in November
TL;DR
Reports from ChannelGate and AIC partners like Colorful and Galax suggest Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs will see price hikes starting November 3, 2026, due to supply shortages.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs are expected to see price increases in November 2026. Reports from the Chinese tech industry channel ChannelGate indicate that add-in card partners, including Colorful and Galax, are preparing for these adjustments. The hikes are reportedly driven by high demand and shortages of memory, PCBs, and raw materials like copper.
The RTX 5090 DV2 is expected to see the largest increase of up to 3,300 RMB, which is nearly $500. The RTX 5080 is also facing significant rises, with reports citing supply cost increases between $374 and $419 or price hikes of 2,500 to 2,800 Yuan. Other models include the RTX 5070 Ti, which may increase by 1,000 Yuan, and the RTX 5070, which could rise by up to 900 Yuan. Even entry-level models are affected, with the RTX 5060 reportedly increasing by around $30 or 150 to 200 Yuan. Some internal sources from manufacturers suggest high-end 50-series cards could see general increases of 1,000 to 2,000 Yuan.
While these specific reports focus on the Chinese market, reports say the changes could impact global prices. Retail prices may take one to two weeks to reflect the new costs. AMD and Intel GPUs are not part of this specific increase, though reports say AMD Radeon cards may see price rises later in November 2026.
