Nvidia removed the GeForce RTX 5080 from its US marketplace on October 30. The corresponding GPU filter also temporarily vanished from the site. The card originally launched with a suggested retail price of $999. Actual US street prices climbed to $2,199.99 by late October.
Nvidia has not confirmed that production of the 16 GB card has ended. Products can disappear from the platform when stock runs dry, similar to an earlier temporary delisting of the RTX 5090 that Nvidia later denied meant a cancellation. Regional availability also differs. The card remains visible on Nvidia's UK site. Meanwhile, reports indicate a 24 GB variant could launch between December 2026 and January 2027 to replace the current model, though Nvidia has not officially announced any product changes.
