The Pokémon Company is releasing part two of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass on December 9, 2026. Titled Dazzling Decorations, the paid DLC comes to the Nintendo Switch 2 and focuses entirely on customization rather than a new location.
Pokémon Pokopia · official art via IGDBPlayers cannot access the new content without installing the free version 3.0.0 software update first. Several in-game prerequisites also apply. Players must complete specific requests in the Withered Wasteland area, including raising the environment level, rebuilding the Pokémon Center, and finishing Drifloon's request to find a doll.
The expansion lets players dress up Ditto and other Pokémon with accessories like sunglasses and bow ties. It also adds new items, furniture, and creatures to befriend, though expansion details state that Part 2 will not introduce a new town. Buyers receive bonus recipes for dynamic Ditto-patterned blocks and wallpaper. An email code also grants 30 rare Pokémetal ingots, with that offer running through August 31, 2027.
Ahead of the expansion, a limited-time in-game event titled Apples to Applin runs from November 16, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. through December 1, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. Requiring software version 2.0.1 or later, the event adds Applin, Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin, and Hydrapple. Players collect Syrupy Apples during the event to trade for apple-themed furniture and build matching habitats.
The Pokémon Company plans to release Part 3 of the Expansion Pass in 2027, which will introduce a new town to explore.
