MSI announced the Cubi NUC WCG, a 0.55-litre mini-PC featuring Intel Core 3 Series processors and a Thunderbolt 4 port.
MSI has announced the Cubi NUC WCG, a 0.55-litre mini-PC that stands 40.1mm tall. The device will be available in three processor configurations: a 5-core Intel Core 3 304, a 6-core Intel Core 5 315, or a 6-core Intel Core 7 350. Users can pair these chips with up to 64GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory and one M.2 SSD.
The mini-PC includes a Thunderbolt 4 port providing 40Gbps transfer speeds, 15W of output, and 98W of input. For display connectivity, it has two HDMI 2.1 outputs and can support up to three simultaneous displays using the Thunderbolt port. Other ports include one USB 20Gbps Type-C connector, two USB 10Gbps sockets, and two USB 2.0 ports. Networking is handled by 2.5GbE and 1GbE LAN ports, alongside Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
MSI says the unit features a toolless locking mechanism for easy internal access. The device can be mounted to a monitor using a VESA mount and includes an optional external power switch. If a compatible MSI Power Link monitor is used, the PC will automatically power on when the monitor is turned on. MSI is providing a three-year warranty, but the company has not disclosed pricing.
