War Thunder announces F-15EX and F-15IA Ra’am for Rank IX

Gaijin Entertainment is adding the F-15EX and the F-15IA Ra’am to War Thunder at Rank IX. The developer says the F-15EX can carry up to 12 active radar-homing missiles, such as the AIM-120D, and up to 22 precision-guided bombs per sortie. This version includes an AESA radar, a radar warning receiver, a voice warning system, and a helmet-mounted display targeting system. The F-15EX also features SLAM-ER missiles with television-command guidance, along with anti-ship and anti-radiation missiles.

The Israeli F-15IA Ra’am variant is identical to the F-15EX in air-to-air combat, though it carries different air-to-ground weaponry, including SPICE precision-guided munitions. Gaijin Entertainment notes that vehicle specifications may change before these aircraft are added to the game.
