Nejcraft says Montabi will arrive on a Nintendo Switch 2 physical cartridge in Q1 2027, with pre-orders live now.
Nejcraft announced a physical release for Montabi on Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher is working with Akupara Games and Mankibo to ship copies in Q1 2027. Pre-orders are live now exclusively through the Nejcraft Store.
Montabi · official art via IGDBThe game is a creature-collecting roguelike deckbuilder. Players fight the X Gang to save a city using tactical turn-based battles on a 3x3 grid. The game features 22 starter creatures, each with their own evolutionary line and deck, and over 500 cards to discover. Players can combine creature abilities with equipment and charms to build their strategy. Various trainers are available, each with a different combat style, but the run ends if the trainer is knocked out.
Nejcraft says the full game is on the cartridge, not a game-key card. Only a standard version is planned, and no special editions have been announced.
