TL;DR

Tipster Hongxing2020 indicates the hardware maker might build a modified card using bigger chips while retaining standard performance parameters.

According to details shared on September 8, the manufacturer might release a revised model of the graphics card built with bigger silicon rather than the standard processor. The corporation has not provided any official confirmation.

Standard models rely on the GB205-300 processor, featuring 6,144 processing units, 12 gigabytes of memory across a 192-bit bus, and a 250-watt power rating. Meanwhile, the alternative die is utilized for higher-end hardware like the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti. Specifications indicate the larger processor contains about 45.6 billion transistors across 378 square millimeters, whereas the smaller die features 31.1 billion transistors and 263 square millimeters.

Such a design shift lets the maker reuse components that fail strict standards for premium models. Although physical dimensions differ, analysts do not expect major capability improvements as long as core counts and memory interfaces stay identical, and rumors of extra memory remain unverified.
