TL;DR

Rockstar is rebranding parts of Miami for the November 19 launch of GTA 6. Some beach installations may be cancelled due to city politics.

GTA 6 launches November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar is promoting the game by rebranding parts of Miami as Vice City. The Miami Heat will rebrand as "Vice City" for a November 18 event. This includes a "Vice City Court" and new uniforms.

Reports say Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell have opened inside the Kaseya Center. Other reports mention a blimp, murals, and digital ads for brands like Coil and Weazel News. Custom cars with Vice City plates, including a police-liveried Lamborghini, have been spotted. Tripping Animals Brewing submitted labels for Pißwasser, Patriot, and a Vice City lager.

A deal to rebrand Miami Beach as Vice Beach may be cancelled if not approved by November 1. No permits were approved as of October 15. The deal involves $300,000 for the city, $4 million for Boucher Brothers, and a $640,000 promotional vehicle.

Rockstar says the game map is twice the size of GTA 5. It will include dynamic weather such as tropical storms and hurricanes.
