8BitDo has begun shipping the Ultimate 3E Controller for XBOX across the UK and Europe as of October 23. The controller is officially licensed for XBOX Series X|S and XBOX One, but also supports Windows, Android, and Apple devices via 2.4GHz wireless, wired USB, or Bluetooth connections.
The hardware features modular, swappable parts including silicone or micro-switch ABXY modules, standard or circular D-pads, and several thumbstick profiles such as tall, thick-neck, or dome options. 8BitDo says the thumbsticks use TMR technology with a 12-bit ADC sampling chip. The controller includes Hall-effect impulse triggers with two trigger stops, two remappable back buttons, and extra L4 and R4 bumpers.
On PC, the controller provides a polling rate of up to 1000 Hz and 6-axis motion control when using 2.4GHz mode. Users can adjust sensitivity, button mapping, and vibration through 8BitDo Ultimate Software X. The package includes a charging dock, an accessory pack, and a travel case. 8BitDo rates the internal battery for up to 18 hours of continuous play when fully charged. The controller is priced at £124.99/€139.99.
