RayNeo has detailed a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 limited edition of its GT Max display glasses. The device uses a digital camouflage design and a sandblasted finish.
The glasses feature a Micro-OLED display that RayNeo says can project a virtual screen up to 267 inches. The hardware includes a 59-degree field of view, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 38 pixels per degree density. RayNeo says the Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max provides a 70% increase in visual scale. The display has a 200,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,200 nits of perceived brightness, 145% sRGB coverage, and 98% DCI-P3 coverage. To reduce flicker, the device uses 3,840Hz high-frequency hybrid dimming.
The glasses run on RayNeo’s Vision 4000 display chip and Zone 360 spatial tracking chip. They include native three-degrees-of-freedom spatial tracking and three viewing modes: Steady, Pinned, and Follow. Audio is provided by a quad-speaker system tuned with Bang & Olufsen. RayNeo says the speaker unit area increased by 38% and sensitivity improved by 5dB.
The glasses weigh approximately 78 grams. RayNeo says the design uses magnesium-alloy brackets and aluminium hinges to manage weight. The device is available in three optical sizes to accommodate different interpupillary distances. RayNeo has not specified the price, availability, or how much Call of Duty software is integrated into the edition.
