Players noticed a countdown timer on a Pokemon website that is expected to end on November 30 at 14:00 UTC. The timer appears to run on an hourly cycle.
The countdown follows a series of images released by the site. On October 18, an image of Bulbasaur appeared with the number 1,025. This was followed by an image of Goodra with the number 843 and an image of Teddiursa with the number 646. While the first two images had some text obscured, the text in the Teddiursa image is fully visible and roughly translates to "Continue with Pokemon." The purpose of the countdown is not confirmed.
