Modern Warfare 4 reached 227,622 concurrent players on Steam at launch, according to reports. This figure is approximately twice the concurrent player peak of Black Ops 7, which reportedly saw slightly more than 100,000 players on the platform during its launch last year.

While Modern Warfare 4 has outpaced Black Ops 7, it is performing worse on Steam than Black Ops 6, which reached over 315,000 concurrent players at launch. Unlike Black Ops 7, Modern Warfare 4 did not have a Game Pass release.
